Have just watched Fellowship of the Ring again.
This time, have streamed it in real-time off DVD via streaming media server (previously used only for test files and Stargate episodes) and quick hacked-up kludge to media player on other machine, twelve feet and <1ms away. Thus enabling use of the comfy chair in a much more baroquely interesting manner than just using DVD drive on other machine.
Fear the power of my boredom.
